Jim the Boy is a great book for people who like happy endings. This book is about a woman named Cissy who lost her husband named Jim. Right after this happens she gives birth to a baby boy and calls him Jim. Jim is growing up in a very confused world and has no idea what has happened to his father. Cissy understands what Jim is going through and everyone is telling her to marry another man. This is hurting Cissy’s feelings because she still believes her husband is alive and thinks if she marries another man he would get mad .My favorite part is when Jim was watching Cissy on a date with another man named Mr. Whitey.
