When Holly ran away from her foster parents she would steal from stores in order to survive. Stealing and living on the streets would always make her think of her mother. From jumping off of trains to hiding from the cops, you would never understand what Holly has been through. But if you read her journal, then maybe you would understand a little bit better. I personally like Holly’s braveness. She is a tough girl for her age. Usually a girl her age wouldn’t know how to survive on the streets but Holly has learned how to provide for herself.
